Le Mei and
Hong Da was punished for being disobedient
and
to worsen the matter, Hong Da's eyes became
blue black after fought with Wan Li and his
gangs. Xiao Pei was also blamed for
not looking after Le Mei. |

Le
Mei later met Qi Xuan again at Si Ann (Le
Mei's hometown) and he gave her a frame
embedded with a white fox. She refused
to accept at first for she has no reason to
receive a present from a stranger. |

They
met again and this time was during the
lantern festival. The next day, Qi
Xuan and his parents came to propose but was
furiously rejected by her mother. Le
Mei promised not to see Qi Xuan anymore.

Qi Xuan
later through Hong Da asked Le Mei
out. She concluded not to see him but
worried he might came to her house, she went
to meet up with him. |

Qi
Xuan apologises for not telling Le Mei his
identity and ask for her forgiveness.
Le Mei unable to "betray" her
mother and told Qi Xuan that she has decided
not to see him anymore.
